Instructions
- High-quality abstracts should include a brief introduction, research problem, aims, methods, results, and conclusions. And must include the full name for all those who involve in the work with their full affiliation and ORCID ID.
- Abstracts should be submitted as a Microsoft Word file (.doc).
- Abstracts should be no more than 250 words, with the font type Times New Roman, font size 12, and a single space.
- Deadline for abstract submission: November 3rd, 2024.
- After registering on the Indico Link (https://rimc.ruc.edu.iq/submission), abstracts should be submitted through the conference website.
- Abstracts should not have been published before.
- The authors should select one of RIMC I’s thematic areas.
- There will be two types of conference participation: podium presentation (10–15 minutes) or poster presentation.
- Abstracts will be reviewed by the Conference Scientific Committee to determine their quality, plagiarism, eligibility, and type of participation (podium or poster).
- Only the abstract accepted for PODIUM PRESENTATION will be published in the proceeding of conference journal.
- The conference journal will publish only the accepted abstracts (not the whole article) that are presented as podium presentations. Authors wishing to submit a full article may do so by themselves, either to the conference journal or to another journal of their choosing, ensuring compliance with the respective journal’s submission guidelines.
- Accepted submissions should have the conference logo on the first slide of the presentation and on top of the hard copy of the poster.
- Presenters (podium presentations) or (live presentations) should email their slides as a soft copy of the presentation (in PowerPoint format) to the Scientific Committee before February 10th via the following Email: rimc@ruc.edu.iq
Note: For abstracts accepted for podium presentations, if authors/ researchers are unable to present their slides in person (i.e., unable to attend the conference physically) for any reason, they may instead present them via Zoom or by submitting a pre-recorded video.
Poster details
- Stand height 154 cm.
- For the slide display board, the length should be 80 x width 110 cm.
